Raised in San Francisco by local business owners and leaders, Kayla is passionate about the power of human connection and community. Her B.A. in politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with an emphasis on international and urban policy, as well as Asian politics, has given her the backdrop to pursue intentional opportunities where she can make a tangible impact. She sees a large gap, both locally and globally, for quality, committed, and consistent learning environments and personnel. She sees true beauty and power in the exchange of learning and knowledge and looks to develop avenues to provide people with these opportunities on a local and global scale while using her executive business experience to lead and resource her team. Kayla is the co-founder of schoolbird and works with Jim Nguyen to launch schoolbird in the U.S. and Vietnam.
