Bokie Muigai is a Public Health enthusiast and is passionate about the factors that influence health and overall wellness. Born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, she will be moving to Los Angeles to join USC Annenberg's Master of Public Relations & Advertising program to further her interest in health communications and stakeholder engagement. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from The University of Michigan, which sparked her interest in how social, physical, and political environments influence health
 outcomes. She then pursued a Master's degree in Public Health from New York University where she also worked in university events. Her other work experiences are rooted in international development, and program planning in areas that include HIV prevention, HIV peer programs, LGBTI youth, and women empowerment. In her free time, she likes to try new cuisine, travel and try out different creative projects. She is looking forward to exploring the city of LA.
