George A. Papandreou is President of the International Olympic Truce Centre, former Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Greece, and General Rapporteur for Democracy at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Founder of the Symi Symposium, he has long championed the Olympic Truce, participatory democracy and international dialogue.
