Originally from France, Gary Goldman just completed his sophomore year at the University of Southern California. As an International Relations Global Business major, his main focus is on the role of nongovernmental organizations and the United Nations in world affairs. He was this year’s President of the USC Chapter of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), motivating students to engage in humanitarian work both on and off campus. He also interned from January to May 2009 at the United Nations Association Pasadena/Foothills, one of the most prestigious grassroots organizations in the region.
Passionate about writing, Gary has been published in the World Bulletin of the United Nations Association and is a regular contributor to the starting student publication The SeeSaw. That said, he truly couldn’t be happier and more honored to spend his summer researching the role of celebrities in public diplomacy with Professor Wiseman and Sherine Walton!
