Lisa currently works at USC's Office of International Services as an Immigration Advisor for international students where she also plans cultural events in the LA area. She obtained her Masters of Public Diplomacy at the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism in 2013 where her focus was on women's empowerment. For part of her thesis she created the Fashion Diplomacy blog as an extension of her research on the global fashion industry, politics, international relations, economic sustainability, and women's empowerment.
Prior to that, Lisa received her Bachelor's degree in Political Science & International Affairs from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California in 2007. From Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, the United Nations in NYC, to working with an NGO in Honolulu, Lisa has experience in every sector and really believes in the power of transnational advocacy networks as forces of public diplomacy. Her greatest passion is enabling young women globally to reach their fullest potential, which often starts with education.
