Laurence is a recent graduate from the Master of Public Diplomacy from USC. Throughout her graduate studies, she worked as a PD News Contributing Researcher and she mostly focused her studies on Canada-US relations as well as Canadian public diplomacy. Prior to her studies in public diplomacy, she interned with the Los Angeles County Democratic Party and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Communication from Université du Québec à Montréal. During her studies, she volunteered as a teacher in India and took part in a student exchange in California with the National Student Exchange (NSE).

She is currently working for International Medical Corps as a digital communications intern.
