New Release: Science Diplomacy Media Monitor Report

The USC Center on Public Diplomacy has released its newest Media Monitor Report on Science Diplomacy. Studying the use of science as a tool for public diplomacy, it looks specifically at legislation, technological exchanges and conflict prevention as three key areas through which science diplomacy is executed and considers the effectiveness of each. The report was written by second year Master’s in Public Diplomacy students Alex Laverty, Rachel Chan and Molly Krasnodebska.

This CPD Media Monitor delivers a comprehensive overview of the major news coverage and developments in the evolving field of science diplomacy from the end of 2009 through 2011. By analyzing the impact of new technologies and scientific progress on the relationships among countries, it also offers insight into the practice and future of science diplomacy.
