Anne Wedner Joins CPD Advisory Board

The USC Center on Public Diplomacy is pleased to welcome Anne Wedner, Fellow at the Distinguished Careers Institute at Stanford University and a Commissioner on the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy, as the newest member of the CPD Advisory Board.

Wedner brings extensive global experience in strategic communications and grassroots advocacy and deep knowledge about U.S. public diplomacy. She has served in a leadership capacity in a range of non-profit organizations and has developed strategic marketing and communications in the advertising and the financial services industries. In her early career, she served in the Foreign Service and held posts in France and Venezuela.

Wedner is currently a Board Member at the Truman National Security Project in Washington, DC and a “Cabinet Member” at the Roosevelt Foundation at Harvard’s Adams House.

"Anne’s forward thinking about public diplomacy and her varied professional background will greatly benefit the Board and CPD,” said Advisory Board Chair Barry Sanders. "We are very excited that Anne is joining us at this critical time of growth at the Center on Public Diplomacy."
