CPD Director discusses transnational journalism, PD, and virtual states in Journalism Studies

The article, "Transnational Journalism, Public Diplomacy, and Virtual States," focuses on how new communication technologies have created more opportunities for non-state actors to pursue public diplomacy, resulting in the publication of less credible information. Seib argues that public diplomacy practitioners must follow the established rules of journalism to regain public trust and potentially create a new genre of international reporting.
