CPD Director to Participate in 10th Arab Media Forum

CPD Director Philip Seib, along with several other media experts, will be participating in the 10th Arab Media Forum in Dubai, UAE.

Over 2,000 media professionals will be attending a 2-day forum to discuss the role of journalism and media in daily life. Seib will be participating in a panel discussion concerning the "Image of the Arab Citizen After Recent Popular Uprisings." A panel of media experts will discuss how Arabs are portrayed in the media and how stereotypes of Arabs are changing.

Abdullah Bozkurt: Bureau-in-Chief of Today’s Zaman Newspaper
Jacques Charmelot: Editor of Agence France-Presse (AFP)

Octavia Nasr: Founder of Bridges Media Consulting, USA
