For four days last month, an art collective called Postcommodity erected a two-mile-long temporary installation of balloons that bi-sected the U.S.-Mexico border. Called “Repellent Fence”, the project included 26 balloons, each tethered to the other, which floated right above a stretch of the border located on the edge of Douglas, Texas and Agua Prieta, Sonora. 

The Embassy of Switzerland, in collaboration with the Satrang Gallery of the Serena Group, hosted a Sculpture Exhibition on October 30 - 31, 2015 within its premises to promote cross-cultural understanding and creation through visual art. 

NATO Week events will kick off at Yerevan State University library at 11:00 am on November 2 with an opening of a photo exhibition of Armenian peacekeepers involved in NATO-led operations in Kosovo and Afghanistan. The exhibition is organized by Information Center on NATO in Armenia with the sponsorship of NATO Public Diplomacy Division and the assistance of Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

This autumn Turner Contemporary presents the second installation in its Sunley Gallery as part of The Year of Mexico 2015 with Pedro Reyes’ Disarm (Mechanised), 2012. Disarm (Mechanized) is an ambitious installation, comprising of 8 mechanical musical instruments, resulting from Pedro Reyes’ international project in which illegal firearms were used to fabricate musical instruments. This is the first time Disarm (Mechanized) has been exhibited in a UK public gallery.

The exhibit, which opened on Aug. 29, is a part of Past Forward, a cultural diplomacy program that brings Emirati artwork and artists to the United States. The exhibition, organized by Meridian International Center and the Embassy of the UAE, tells the story of the UAE’s rich history, culture and rapid development through the works of 25 notable artists.
