In addition to the state's renewed interest in Belarusisation and cultural initiatives, support for these changes in society is also on the rise. The 'soft' Belarusisation policy and the activity of the organisations such as Art Siadziba are in growing demand in Belarus.

The diplomat emphasized the importance of arranging Belarus-India cultural events, soirees and exhibitions. In an interview with BelTA, the Indian Ambassador noted that the year 2015 will be very fruitful for the bilateral cooperation. The year will mark a number of important visits and a session of the Belarus-India intergovernmental commission for trade and economy. 

The participants of the session discussed joint efforts of friendship societies and individual foreign countries to promote cultural values.

Jerusalem and Minsk are set to sign a visa-waiver program, Israel’s ambassador to the internationally ostracized former Soviet republic of Belarus said. Ambassador Yosef Shagal announced the signing on Friday to 700 participants at the Limmud FSU conference in Vitebsk, the former Soviet country’s third-largest city.
