"I had already visited the China Pavilion more than one time in the past days but I can say that today I realized the magnificence of capital Beijing," Italian visitor of the world exposition in Italy's Milan, Mauro Magni, told Xinhua on Saturday. Magni talked to Xinhua after spectating the lion dance, Peking opera, acrobatics and dances, and Chinese ballet drama Marco Polo animating the China Pavilion and other venues at the Expo Milano 2015 site.

A Doraemon movie will be shown in China starting Thursday, becoming the first new Japanese film to be released in the country in nearly three years, diplomatic sources said. “Stand by Me Doraemon” is a 3-D animation film released in Japan last year. The Chinese government strictly limits the showing of foreign movies.

Hans Morgenthau’s Politics Among Nations, originally published in 1948, is the bible of the realist school of international relations. A less well-known work, Truth and Power, is a collection of essays that he wrote during the 1960s which includes a 1968 piece entitled “The Far East,” wherein Morgenthau applied his realist approach to the balance of power in Asia and envisioned a world where China is the most powerful nation on earth.

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has visited Peru's National Museum of Archaeology with his Peruvian counterpart Pedro Cateriano. The two leaders also jointly opened an exhibition on the origins of Chinese civilization. Speaking from the museum, Li says both countries have made "contributions to human development" and there are "deep cultural roots" between China and Peru. "Agricultural civilizations in Peru and China made contributions to human development, and surely development between us will increase so that we can have an even brighter future.
