The Philippine diplomatic mission has taken "a giant leap" in its efforts to reach out to the Filipino diaspora with the launch of the mobile app version of Radyo Tambuli — the embassy's virtual radio platform in Washington, D.C.

Tehran has in recent years focused seriously on developing ties with the neighboring countries, including the Republic of Azerbaijan which enjoys various commonalties with Iran in religious, historical and cultural fields.

The focus was on beefing up engagement between the two nations in the areas of trade and commerce. Modi is learnt to have made a strong push for improving regional connectivity as a booster to trade and increased people-to-people cultural contact.

A five-day (November 5-9) art residency entitled "Maitri-India China Women Artists' Residency" was inaugurated at the Diggi Palace in Jaipur by the guest of honour justice R S Chauhan with the lighting of lamp and Kathak performance by the Jaipur's well known dance performer Manjari Kiran Mahajani.

Azerbaijani Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev has met Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto.  Peter Szijjarto said Azerbaijan and Hungary enjoyed strong relations in a variety of fields, including cultural one.

More than 90 international journalists from 80 countries will participate in the Edward R. Murrow Program for Journalists, during which they will examine the rights and responsibilities of a free press in a democracy and observe operational practices, standards and institutions of the media.
