The theme of this year's expo is "Joint Prosperity of Asia through Cultural Exchange," and will display performances, exhibitions and symposiums at Ho Chi Minh City Hall plaza and nearby locations. It will be held from November 9 through December 2. More than 10,000 people from 40 countries will participate as performers.

A statue of late President Ho Chi Minh has been inaugurated in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Present at the ceremony on August 30 were representatives of the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Argentina-Vietnam Cultural Institute, diplomatic corps and Vietnamese friends.
