The exhibit, which opened on Aug. 29, is a part of Past Forward, a cultural diplomacy program that brings Emirati artwork and artists to the United States. The exhibition, organized by Meridian International Center and the Embassy of the UAE, tells the story of the UAE’s rich history, culture and rapid development through the works of 25 notable artists.

We began discussions with three Chinese museums in March to explore the possibility of staging an international cultural exhibition and showcase Kenya's rich cultural heritage," said Kibunjia. He disclosed that discussions with Palace museum in Beijing, provincial museums in Yunnan and Guangdong would pave way for the staging of the international cultural exhibition soon.

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has visited Peru's National Museum of Archaeology with his Peruvian counterpart Pedro Cateriano.
