The Pakistani cinemas are all set to screen Iranian films after a ban on Indian content in the country. The move came in a bid to save the declining Pakistan film industry and restore its glory. The industry was previously functional with screening of Indian movies but after the imposition of the ban it is somewhat facing difficulties, IRNA reported.

Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reform Ahsan Iqbal said that Pak-US Knowledge Corridor is one of the most significant initiatives in the entire diplomatic history of Pakistan and US. Sindh Governor Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan has welcomed the keenness of British investors in Pakistan particularly in Karachi, the country’s economic hub and in this regard assured all possible support from the government. He in this regard also lauded the role of British Business Centre in Karachi for the promotion of trade and investment in Pakistan.

The India-Pakistan conflict has sadly spilled into the cultural realm, attenuating forces that provide the little glimmer of hope for an integrated, peaceful and prosperous South Asia: culture, arts, music, movies, and people-to-people relations. Art and culture have no nation, no boundaries, and no religion. Works of art are priceless treasures of the world regardless of where they originate. 

Noreum Machi, a South Korean musical troupe, enthralled the audience at a special event organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC). [...] Every October, the embassy organizes events to commemorate National Foundation Day and celebrate the bilateral relationship between South Korea and Pakistan.

For their 2016 Best Countries report, Reibstein and his associates surveyed 16,200 business experts and ‘informed elites’ around the world and divided their findings into nine sub-rankings like adventure, quality of life, open for business, heritage, and cultural influence. India came in at No. 22 among 60 nations. 

In this scenario, India has to gradually induce China into accepting the fact that not taking action against Pakistan-based terrorism is detrimental for everyone in the neighbourhood. And this can be achieved through greater dialogue and boosting bilateral economic cooperation to an extent that will dwarf the China-Pakistan economic relationship.
