The day-long interactive session was organised by the CDA on ‘National Identity in UAE’ at Al Rashidya Majlis on Oct.8 with a group of 25 female teachers from different Pakistani schools in the UAE. “Gatherings with different nationalities on national identities are being held for many years and from this year we decided to discuss and share the similarities of local cultures.

In spite of the jubiliation over surgical strikes inside PoK to 'avenge' Uri attack and flight of Pakistani artistes from India, Pakistani music lovers from Bengal see music and it's exchange as the only path in ensuring long-lasting peace between the two nations. [...] Exchange of artistes instead of kicking them out of the two antagonist countries is felt by some as a way to increase cultural exchange.

Pakistan is now quoted as a country of peace lovers and peace builders as they have strived hard to overthrow their adversaries without any demoralization. The term ‘soft power’ was coined in 1990 by Professor Joseph Nye to explain how modern states can use positive attraction and persuasion to achieve global influence. 

China’s Sichuan province has turned into a major hub of Pakistan-China bilateral cooperation both in military and socio-economic sectors. Major companies are coming from Chengdu, Sichuan region that are heavily investing in Pakistan, giving boost to their trade and military-to-military relationship.

As part of the efforts to further expand bilateral relationship between Pakistan and China under the multi-billion dollars CPEC, the two countries are planning to launch China Pakistan Cultural Corridor (CPCC) to bring the peoples of two countries more closely together.

Indian Academy of Fine Arts, established in pre-Partition days, has extended invitation to artists from Pakistan for joint performances and participation in various competitions including painting, sculpturing, fine arts etc. aiming to bolster the relations between two nations which have taken a backseat in recent past.
