Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) celebrated the International Museum Day on Thursday, internationally acknowledged on May 18th. The ceremony took place at the Ajman Museum and was attended by a number of Emirati heritage enthusiasts, Government officials as well as museum visitors, consisting of residents and tourists. The celebration included a number of heritage activities where the visitors could experience folk dances such as the Liwa and Ayala dances and samples delicious traditional cuisine.

A latest poll unveiled on Tuesday that tapping public diplomacy to repair bilateral relations continued to attract public support from both China and Japan.  The contribution of people-to-people interactions to improving ties were endorsed by 64.4 percent of the Japanese public and 63.4 percent of its Chinese counterpart, , according to the 10th Public Opinion on China-Japan Relations survey, which has been co-sponsored annually by China Daily and Japanese nonprofit think tank Genron NPO.

His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah underscored the importance of public diplomacy in strengthening ties between friendly nations. His Highness the Prime Minister's remark was made Sunday during his reception at Seif Palace of a Kuwait media delegation which has recently paid a visit to Iran. His Highness Sheikh Jaber lauded Kuwaiti media delegation's initiative to visit Iran, adding that such popular visits are in essential to build and boost people-to-people relations between countries.
