A group of Arabic-speaking University students and community members are volunteering as tutors for Syrian refugee families residing in Hyde Park. The volunteering is facilitated by an organization called Sirat, which provides aid and community services to refugee families. According to its website, Sirat promotes the development of cultural expression, religious involvement, and community service, in line with the values of Muslim faith.

Wodonga Senior Secondary College’s multicultural peer support students will hold a cultural exchange fundraiser night in Tawonga [...] Organised by students from a variety of backgrounds, all are welcome to come and delve into the students’ culture through food, music and dance. Donations received from the community will go towards Jan Fallon's fundraiser for the Tumaini Miles of Smiles Orphanage in Kenya. 

Student activists at Princeton University came together last week to construct "The Wall," an intersectional art installation meant to represent both Israel's West Bank barrier and the Mexico–United States barrier. [...] The project is a collaboration between the Princeton Committee on Palestine (PCP) and DREAM Team, both student-run immigrant rights advocacy groups.
