FAPE

The Reagan Library will welcome its newest exhibit next week, displaying works of art that until now have been seen only in embassies outside the United States. In its historic debut at the Reagan Library at 40 Presidential Drive in Simi Valley, the Foundation for Arts and Preservation in Embassies will present its Original Print, Photography and Site-Specific collections from June 23 to Aug. 7.

If you haven't heard of the Foundation for Art and Preservation in Embassies (FAPE) you will be properly impressed by their great ingenuities. [...] Now FAPE and Crayola are integrating art education with the artworks procured and developed for American embassies, and using them for the enlightened creativity of children in the broader United States school curriculum.

The Foundation for Art and Preservation in Embassies (FAPE) [will] provide "permanent works of American art for U.S. embassies worldwide, contributing to the U.S. Department of State's mission of cultural diplomacy and cross-cultural understanding within the diplomatic community and the international public […] Exciting cultural diplomacy initiatives can be seen through their site-specific commissions.
