Angola has already become a representative brand in the various universal exhibitions held so far, which turns it into a country that is open to the world, the national commissioner to the Expo 2012 Yeosu, Albina Assis, considered this Sunday.

Although all fall under the main theme of “The Living Ocean and Coast,” the international pavilions at the Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea are as diverse as the 104 participating countries themselves. Linked by a digital canopy displaying ocean scenes on a giant overhead LED screen, the international pavilions showcase nations’ oceans, coasts and the work they are doing to protect them.

The USA Pavilion 2012 Student Ambassadors represent the hopeful and determined spirit of the American people," said USA Pavilion Chief Spokesperson Philippe Cousteau. "Together their unique perspectives and experiences will help bring the United States alive for visitors from Korea and around the globe.

"The government does not trust the Foreign Service, does not understand public diplomacy and is only belatedly awakening to the re-emergence of the Asia-Pacific as the centre of the global political economy," said Copeland, now a fellow at both the University of Toronto's Munk School of Global Affairs and the University of Southern California's Center on Public Diplomacy.
