Alina Evans is currently a PD News Contributing Researcher at CPD and a second year student in the Master of Public Diplomacy Program at the University of Southern California. Her interests include environmental diplomacy, the role of non-state actors, and the crossection between advocacy and public diplomacy. 

Alina received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of California-Santa Barbara, where she spent a full year studying at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. After graduating, Alina interned at Global Exchange and Food & Water Watch, working on anti-hydraulic fracturing legislation.
