Natasha Rastegari is the Marketing, Outreach, and Development Officer for the U.S. Association for International Migration, a partner of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in the United States. IOM is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental, and non-governmental partners. IOM is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all by providing services to governments and migrants. One of Natasha’s key focus areas has been to raise awareness and support for IOM crises responses worldwide, including in Iraq, Yemen, and Nepal.
Prior to IOM, Natasha spent several years managing democracy and governance programs as part of the electoral education and integrity team at Creative Associates International – an international development firm based in Washington, D.C. As part of her work, she developed partnerships and implemented projects in more than 15 countries. In addition, she provided support for electoral security assessments and conducted technical research.
Natasha received her B.A. in Political Science and B.A. in Middle Eastern and North African Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. She received her M.A. in Public Diplomacy from the University of Southern California.
