CPD CONTRIBUTIONS
Efe Sevin is an assistant professor of public relations at the Department of Mass Communication at Towson University (Maryland, U.S.). His current research focuses on the identifying and measuring the impacts of social networks on place branding and public diplomacy campaigns. Prior to joining Towson University, he worked at Reinhardt University (Georgia, U.S.), University of Fribourg (Switzerland), and Kadir Has University (Turkey). His works have been published in several academic journals and books including American Behavioral Scientist, Public Relations Review, and Cities. His most recent book, Public Diplomacy and the Implementation of Foreign Policy in the U.S., Sweden and Turkey, was published by Palgrave MacMillan in 2017.
Dr. Sevin received his Ph.D. from American University’s School of International Service, Washington, D.C. He completed his graduate studies at Emerson College, Boston, MA as a Foreign Fulbright scholar, and his undergraduate studies at Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey.
