Voltaire Casino received his Bachelor’s in International Relations from Sarah Lawrence College, New York in 2005. After placing a bet with a friend, he moved to Los Angeles in an attempt to prove that New York is, in fact, better than Los Angeles.

As an intern at the Center on Public Diplomacy, Voltaire does research and writing for the Center’s Wikipedia and compiles the Center’s library. Previously, he has assisted in editing The Essential Field Guide to Afghanistan, a leading guide for Westerners in the region.

Voltaire also currently works for a political campaign and plans on pursuing a career in international law, with a focus on human rights in the Middle East and East Asia. His future goal is to fully complete The Philosophical Dictionary.
