Anna Pederson hails from the other Washington, where she received her undergraduate degree in English Literature from Seattle University. In 2020, she received a Master of Strategic Public Relations from USC, where she focused on civic engagement at USC Annenberg.
Her path to PR started as a Marketing Manager for renowned graphic novel publisher, Fantagraphics Books and transitioned her love of writing and advocacy to women’s healthcare communications here in Los Angeles. As a passionate volunteer, Anna has worked with CA Dems, NARAL, and Run for Something to elect young progressive Democrats, and currently co-chairs programming and development for the non-profit organization, Small Press Expo in D.C.
Anna is an avid news and non-fiction reader of a variety of topics, with a great enthusiasm for foreign affairs and global human rights. Through her fellowship with the CPD and degree at USC, Anna hopes to raise awareness about the intersectionality of the World’s most pressing issues.
