Colin holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, and an MA in International Journalism from the University of Leeds in England. His PhD combines the two by investigating Chinese and Taiwanese Public Diplomacy in Central America. His wider research interests include China - Taiwan relations, Latin America Studies, and US neo-colonial history.
