Didier Diels
Newsletter Editor, Candidate for a B.A. in Print Journalism

Didier Diels is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Print Journalism at USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and plans to attend law school after graduating in December 2005. He is completing a minors in English and political science.

Didier's profile of former Ku Klux Klan leader Tom Metzger, published in San Diego CityBeat, was a finalist for the National Association of Alternative Newsweeklies' best feature story of the year in 2004. He has also published articles in the Santa Monica Daily News, Los Angeles CityBeat, 28th Street Magazine and the Daily Trojan.

He was an intern at the Center for Governmental Studies in Los Angeles in 2005, focusing on the Video Voter project, which attempts to increase and improve non-partisan, non-profit election coverage on public and access television.

Didier is originally from Connecticut but possesses dual citizenship as a Belgian national. He currently lives in Los Angeles.
