Edward Stewart is a Strategic Program Designer working at the U.S. Department of State. He is part of the Collaboratory, the design and innovation unit of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). His portfolio includes South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA), East Asian and Pacific Affairs (EAP), Indo-Pacific Strategy, Emergent Technologies for Public Diplomacy, and an internal Incubator Program. Previously he served as a Digital Diplomacy Specialist for ECA’s Office of Public Affairs and Strategic Communications (PASC) focusing on social media analytics and digital productivity tools. Edward is a proud first-generation Colombian-American and native Floridian who completed his graduate coursework in International Studies at the University of San Francisco, studied abroad at the Freie Universität Berlin, and holds undergraduate degrees from both The City College of New York and Miami Dade College.
