Jessica Dickinson Goodman has served as a volunteer mentor for the U.S. State Department-funded TechWomen program for over a decade. In that time, she has mentored hundreds of women in STEM, traveled across the Middle East and West Africa teaching alongside program Fellows, and coached a winning team in the annual international TechWomen pitch competition. Inspired by her time with TechWomen, she is a dual degree Masters student at Georgetown University, seeking an M.S. in Foreign Service and M.A. in Global, International, and Comparative History, working on a book project titled Jerusalem 1848: Peace, Conflict, and Citizen Diplomacy in the Holy Land.
