Lauren is a Front Desk Intern at the USC Center on Public Diplomacy. She is a senior at USC, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in concert with both a minor in Music Industry and in Consumer Behavior. Originally from Michigan, she was eager to move to Los Angeles to pursue her interests in the Entertainment Industry. Throughout Lauren’s education at USC, she has been involved in both research projects for the Annenberg School for Communication and has worked with the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Lauren’s interest in entertainment led her to multiple internships at places such as Capitol Records, Playtone Production Company, Universal Pictures and Warner Bros. Records. She is very interested in the portrayal of public diplomacy on film and in television shows, as well as social media’s influence on public diplomacy.
Alongside her studies, Lauren is a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at USC, where she has held a position of Diversity Chair, as well as Risk Management Chair. She has a passion for traveling, USC Football, and live music and loves to hike and do yoga in her spare time.
