Contributing Researcher, USC Bachelor's of Arts in International Relations and Global Economy

Max received a B.A. in International Relations and the Global Economy in 2018. Starting in August 2017, he participated in an Urdu language program in Lucknow, India as a Boren Scholarship recipient. Max is interested in South Asian affairs, and in particular the growing influence of China in Pakistan via the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Prior to joining CPD, Max worked as a research intern in Washington D.C. at the National Defense University and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.

As a CPD Contributing Researcher, Max worked on Research Fellow Zahid Shahab Ahmed’s project: “How Are Attitudes towards China Formed in Pakistan? Analysis of Beijing’s Public Diplomacy in the Context of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.”
