Zeyu is a master's student in public policy at the USC Price School of Public Policy and is expected to graduate in 2019. She graduated from Renmin University of China (RUC) with a B.A. in English, and finished an exchange program at The University of Manchester in UK for one semester. In 2016, She worked as a research assistant for a project on the environmental health impact of reforms in China led by professors from RUC. In April 2017, she, as an interpreter, accompanied a group of international officials from countries involved in the “Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)” to attend a series of seminars held by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China.
Zeyu is a contributing researcher for 2017-19 CPD Research Fellow Dr. Zahid Shahab Ahmed’s project: “How Are Attitudes Towards China Formed in Pakistan? Analysis of Beijing’s Public Diplomacy in the Context of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.”
