Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has envisioned a whole new role for Bollywood, noting India's 'soft power', especially the film industry, can be put to use as an important instrument of foreign policy. Syria, France enhance cultural cooperation
Culture Minister Riyad Na'asan Agha on Tuesday discussed with his French counterpart Christine Albanel cultural relations between the two countries and means of developing them. The two sides stressed importance of following up the implementation of the projects which were agreed on earlier, particularly the agreement signed in 2006 between Louvre Museum and the General Department of Ruins and Museums.
