CPD Research Fellow Caitlin Byrne(2010-2012) is one of the keynote speaker's at Australian National University's conference on 'Public and Citizen Diplomacy.' Dr. Byrne will be speaking in the third session on 'International Practices in Public and Citizen Diplomacy.'
The primary focus of the conference, from June 6th to June 7th, is to explore how public and citizen diplomacy can be used to create international understanding by connecting governments to the public through public diplomacy and connecting people to people through citizen diplomacy. Experts will also discuss how to further incorporate public and citizen diplomacy into Australian foreign policy.
