Oprah Winfrey To Address 2018 USC Annenberg Commencement

On May 11, 2018 Oprah Winfrey, arguably one of America's most beloved public diplomats, will deliver the keynote address at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, home of the USC Center on Public Diplomacy.

Having established her name as host of The Oprah Winfrey Show, the Academy Award-nominated actress and producer founded the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa in 2007 and received the nation's highest civilian honor, the Medal of Freedom in 2013.

For the first time, the entire USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism will celebrate commencement together, honoring close to 1,000 candidates for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in communication, journalism, public diplomacy and public relations.
