Early in the fall semester, the University of Pittsburgh's Panthers for Israel group kicked off the year with free giveaways, music and a creative twist. Three renowned graffiti artists from New York attracted hundreds of Pitt students as they painted an homage to Pittsburgh and Israel on campus walls.

In order to tighten the artistic and cultural connection between the U.S. and Taiwan, the MMA has donated to MoNTUE 100 pieces of plaster sculptures that date from between the Medieval period to the late 19th century.The Public Diplomacy Section Chief of the American Institute in Taiwan, Sheila Paskman (裴士蓮), said that cultural soft power and diplomacy have brought Taiwan and America a new method of communication and exchange.

The main motto of this Blue Storm artist camp, that was held by the Indian national Trust for Culture and Heritage (INTAC) was to engage local artists in a cross cultural exchange in order to expand their exposure and professional network. "These art forms exhibited the various expressions of life and it was a wonderful experience as artists shared the thought process that goes into making paintings in this art camp."

The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the University of Iowa, celebrates the conclusion of this year’s International Writing Program with public events in Washington, D.C. and New York City. The International Writing Program is an 80-day, U.S. based-residency for creative writing professionals.
