Justin is a security advisor with the United Nations. From 2011-2014, Justin was an analyst in the private security sector in Iraq before joining UNICEF in Yemen from 2015-2018. After a brief stint with the World Food Programme in Nigeria, he returned to the Middle East in 2019, based in Jordan. Justin's career includes a military tour in Afghanistan with the British Army and working as a civilian analyst with the British Government. His academic background is diverse, starting with a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Psychology from the UK’s University of Exeter. His first graduate degree was from Cornell, also in Psychology. Justin then moved towards Diplomacy & International Security with an MA from the University of Westminster. Finally, at USC, Justin graduated with a Master's in Public Diplomacy, where his research was interdisciplinary across Communications, Journalism, and International Relations. Justin welcomes any interest from current or former students for research collaboration or mentoring. Justin was an Annenberg Alumni Ambassador 2016-2017.
