Joseph Braude is the author, most recently, of Broadcasting Change: Arabic Media as a Catalyst for Liberalism (Rowman & Littlefield, 2018) and host of the Web site broadcastchange.org. His is Advisor to the Al-Mesbar Center for Studies and Research in Dubai and a Senior Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute in Philadelphia. Fluent in Arabic, Hebrew and Persian, Braude studied Near Eastern Languages at Yale and Arabic and Islamic History at Princeton.
