Kyle is a PhD candidate in the International and Comparative Education program at Teachers College, Columbia University. His dissertation, “The Emergence of the American University Abroad,” explores the growth of self-labeled American higher education institutions overseas. Prior to his doctoral work, Kyle was an administrator and lecturer at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani.
