Valerie Samoilova is currently a press-secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine to the Republic of Kazakhstan, whose responsibility (and passion) also covers the sphere of public diplomacy and popularization of Ukraine’s image abroad. 

She has a B.A. in Political Science and BA Hons in German Studies from the University of Pretoria and University of Konstanz and a Masters in Translation and Interpreting from Kyiv International University.

Valerie speaks Ukrainian, English, German, Russian, Thai as well as some French, Polish and Kazakh. Her interests include literature, horse riding and rock-climbing.
