Rayan Alyusufi studied mass communication and started his career as a filmmaker in Saudi Arabia. In 2018, Alyusufi moved to New York and did his master’s degree in International Communication at St. John’s University. He is currently a Ph.D. student at Bournemouth University. His research interests include public diplomacy, soft power and nation branding in relation to the Middle East.
