Bethany Pullen holds a Master of Public Diplomacy from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in International Studies and currently works as a research project manager in education policy at the University of Pittsburgh. Her Master's thesis examined how the Israeli military and government use social media to communicate with foreign audiences. Her research interests include social media as political communication, counter-terrorism and national security policy and research methods. She resides in Pittsburgh with her husband and son.
