Michele is president of Ignite Global Good, LLC, a strategic communications company that serves clients at the intersection of social justice, human rights and international engagement. Her interest is in developing and leading strategic programs that utilize public diplomacy to advocate for international human rights policies, as well as inclusion of underrepresented populations. Michele’s international human rights advocacy experience includes presenting to officials at the United States Embassy in Bogotá on the subjects of indigenous land rights and security; contributing research to a Human Rights Watch report on the arsenic poisoning crisis in rural Bangladesh and collaborations with Dellums Center for Violence Prevention and Conflict Resolution (Africa) and Witness for Peace (Latin America). Michele is also a media interview trainer, and has coached the leaders of international human rights and policy organizations.
