Soojin Kim (Ph.D., Purdue University) is Senior Lecturer in Strategic Communication at the University of Technology Sydney. Her research explores how publics' cognitive and affective mechanisms explain their behaviors in diverse contexts from consumer-brand relationship, organization-employee relationship, to citizen-government relationship. Her recent work investigated the dynamics behind consumers' intention to support a transgressor brand in the form of buycott behavior via a moral decoupling process.
