The Korea–ASEAN Comprehensive Strategic Partnership has deepened ties through politics, economics, and culture, but remains asymmetrical—driven largely by Korean influence—and will only be sustainable if public diplomacy fosters greater reciprocity, mutual understanding, and visibility for ASEAN within Korea.
