Second Summit Of Arab-South American Countries Opens
The Second summit of Arab-South American Countries opened here Tuesday with the participation of leaders and senior officials from 12 South American countries and 22 Arab states, plus delegates from the Arab League. The purpose of the major gathering is to bring together the two large and important blocks of developing countries.
Calling Doktor “Haus”

The Amerika Haus in Berlin, a symbol of U.S.-government public diplomacy throughout the Cold War, has been quietly resurrected by a German-American not-for-profit to serve as a venue for America-related events in the German capital.

The United States is committed to a flexible and responsive approach to Lebanese and regional aid programs, a senior State Department official said Monday.
