CPD Director Philip Seib was quoted in an article on the departure of Undersecretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Judith McHale in the Policy Monitor for the Alliance for International Educational and Cultural Exchange.
Mark Overmann quoted Seib's article in the The Huffington Post in a Policy Monitor article addressing McHale's departure and contributions to public diplomacy. Seib said: “[McHale's]most valuable contribution may have been to structurally reinforce public diplomacy within the State Department…she took a big step toward increasing the centrality of public diplomacy in American foreign policy.”
