CPD Awarding Dissertation Grants

The USC Center on Public Diplomacy (CPD) is pleased to announce its Doctoral Dissertation Grant program for the academic year 2017-18, one of several broader CPD Research Opportunities. CPD will select two doctoral students with dissertation topics in the area of public diplomacy. The Dissertation Awards, $2,500 each, are intended to recognize and support the work of emerging scholars from around the world engaged in cutting-edge research on public diplomacy. 

The application process for the 2017-2018 CPD Doctoral Dissertation Grant begins April 3. Applications will be accepted through June 30, 2017 and should be sent electronically to cpd@usc.edu with "ATTN: Jay Wang – Dissertation Award Application" in the subject line. CPD supports work examining a broad range of public diplomacy topics from diverse geographical areas and perspectives, with special interest in topics related to CPD Research Initiatives. Awards will be announced in late August 2017 and disbursed shortly thereafter.
